The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has announced a partnership with Mexico for an exclusive campaign, #50BestPass, leading up to the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony later this year.

After two very successful years in Lima, Peru, this year’s awards ceremony for Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants will take place in Mexico City. Through this, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants have a unique opportunity to shine a light on Mexico as a leading gastronomic destination.

William Drew, Group Editor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Mexico to showcase the diversity and quality of its restaurants and deep-rooted food culture. This campaign aims to reflect Mexico’s status as a global culinary travel destination. It will also provide exclusive access inside the kitchens of some the region’s finest dining destinations.”

Followers of #50BestPass on social media can expect an access-all-areas pass into daily life at three of Mexico’s top restaurants (Sud 777, Pangea and Amaranta) and their award-winning chefs. The public also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win their own #50BestPass and attend Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony in Mexico City on the 23rd September, as part of a fantastic week-long food-lovers’ trip for two to Mexico. All you need to do is follow Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter or #50BestPass for behind-the-scenes access.

What to do? Post images and videos using the #50BestPass hashtag for your chance to win a week-long gastronomic trip to Mexico City, including VIP tickets to the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants awards ceremony itself.

Good luck!
