Italian Michelin Stars 2011 revealed
Today was The Day – everybody was waiting how many stars will shine in the Italian Michelin sky next year. The number of stars was higher then ever: 325 stars for 276 restaurants. But no drastical changes really happened. Italy (at least in this case) shows a bit of stability. Italy has still six restaurants awarded with three Michelin stars. Here is a small overview:

Lombardia has the most star restaurants: 52 exactly, following is Piemonte, which has 37 star restaurants, but is on the first place between the new stars ( 6 new restaurants).
The province with the most stars seems to be Bolzano with 15 restaurants, following is Cuneo which has the same number of stars but in different mixture; the third is Napoli, with 14 star restaurants.
